I have had psoriasis since about 1987, after my son was born(so about 27 years). It has spread and gotten steadily worse, mostly on my hands and elbows at present. Because the skin is so thin I am constantly tearing it and bleeds profusely. Not to mention the redness which makes it look like burns. Or it is so dry my hands and elbows look like an alligator. Being dry of course also causes them to crack and bleed. Do you have a blend for this? Thank you so much!

I am so sorry. I have a client who visits me at the spa who suffers from psoriasis. She’s improved a lot over the years but still has breakouts that take a long time to heal.
I’m going to be honest. I’m not sure that I can heal your psoriasis, it is a very complex issue that involves so many different things – from digestive issues and skin problems to other medical or emotional conditions. But I can help improve it and give you some relief.
I’m going to recommend two oils and a couple of ingredients from your kitchen. Since you have psoriasis, I highly recommend you use only organic products on your body!
1. Borage Seed Oil
2. Cedarwood Oil
4. Yogurt or Kefit
6. Olive Oil
Use about 5 drops of the Cedarwood essential oil into 4oz of Borage oil.
Rub this on your problem areas and the areas around them daily (even if you aren’t having an outbreak).
Combine 8oz of milk and kefir/yogurt with 1oz of Borage oil.
Apply this to your body before you start running a bath. Then, as the bath fills up let it sit on your body. Once the bath is filled hang out in the bath tub for at least 5-10 minutes.
You can channel your inner Cleopatra if you’re a bit grossed out. If you can’t get past it just let it sit on your body for about 5 minutes and then shower it off.
Do this a couple of times a week regardless of whether you are having an outbreak.
Combine 1/4 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup of olive oil and a teaspoon of borage oil. Then Add 8 drops of Cedarwood.
(note: (you can fiddle with the ratio of olive oil and sugar until you get a consistency you like).
Use this as a body scrub once a week. You want to use as much of this blend as possible. You want to apply it to your body before you start your shower or bath. And if you can, you can let it sit for 5-10 minutes before sitting in bath water or starting your shower.
Please come back and let me know how this is going so that I can provide additional suggestions or next steps.
