I have a typically oily skin with large pores. I am also approaching 29 and am getting concerned with anti aging as I’m starting to get some lines around the eyes and forehead.
Also I have had quite red skin on my face for the past year..!! I don’t know why 🙁 it’s quite embarrassing and I can only kind of cover it up with makeup but not completely I take good care of my skin, I always cleanse & moisturise and avoid the sun.
Any help & recipies would be much appreciated!

Oily and sensitive skin is a tough issue. It’s actually not very common. It’s hard to know for sure without seeing your skin or having a better understanding of your skincare routine, products used, etc. but this makes me think that your skin is deeply confused.
My suggestion would be to keep it crazy simple for the next little while – 2 weeks at minimum, ideally a month.
Use coconut oil and aloe vera gel – that’s it!
Begin by applying coconut oil and vera gel to your skin and massaging it in for 30-60 seconds. Then, remove it with facial pads (if possible organic, non-bleached pads) and water (preferably filtered). * Do not splash your face with water, use the cotton pads to remove the coconut oil.
Once you’ve rinsed that off apply more coconut oil. This time, massage it in for 3-5 minutes. If you find you find that the coconut oil hasn’t been fully absorbed you can use some dry cotton pads to remove it.
Do this two-three times a day – morning, when arriving home from work, and before bed.
What we’re trying to do at this point is help your skin settle down and come closer to balance. While coconut oil and aloe very gel are great for wrinkles, I don’t think that this is the focus at the start. Once you’re finding that your skin is settling down a bit you can start adding essential oils, additional carrier oils, and cleansing solutions that will help keep your skin in balance for the long term.
Please do come back several times throughout this process and let me know how it’s going!
